Not all children get the same opportunities. Our 1-to-1 tutoring allows children with learning difficulties more time to learn at their own pace. And, most importantly, they can ask for support.

Our goal is to create a nurturing environment where your child feels more confident in their learning. Our dedicated team of tutors is experienced in working with children with ADHD, dyslexia, dyspraxia, and other specific learning difficulties.
Our dedicated team of tutors is here to help your child thrive. We are used to working through challenges and to ensure that your child feels comfortable every step of the way.

Our daily rate starts at £250. The total charge depends on factors such as the number of hours, the student's age, the number of students, and travel requirements.

We focus on creating a supportive learning environment that highlights patience, clear communication, and step-by-step instruction. Our tutors employ multi-sensory learning techniques, breaking down complex concepts into manageable steps, and providing regular, positive reinforcement to boost confidence and understanding.

HRB Education's tutors have considerable expertise in dealing with kids with a variety of learning issues, including dyslexia, ADHD, and processing impairments. By tailoring their teaching approaches to specific learning styles, they have helped students overcome obstacles and reach academic achievement.

Tutors conduct an initial evaluation to determine your child's individual learning requirements, skills, and areas to improve. We then develop a personalised learning plan that focuses on these areas while leveraging the child’s strengths. Our tutors constantly assess progress and alter courses as required, ensuring that the teaching techniques and materials are matched with your child's requirements.

Keeping students interested and involved is a primary objective for HRB Education. Our tutors employ a range of tactics to make learning enjoyable, including incorporating the student's hobbies into lessons and creating engaging and hands-on activities. We also give lots of support and celebrate tiny triumphs to keep your child motivated, especially when the content is difficult.

An SEN tutor is a specialist educator highly trained in adapting teaching methods and resources for students with Special Educational Needs (SEN). They help your child by first assessing their challenges, such as dyslexia, dyspraxia, or understanding concepts, and then creating highly personalised learning plans. SEN tutors don't just focus on the subject but also work on your child’s study skills, self-esteem, and plan specific strategies to manage learning difficulties. These steps help your child to understand the UK curriculum and achieve their potential easily.

HRB Education's SEN tutors support children with ADHD and attention difficulties using a highly structured, multi-sensory, and fun learning approach to help them improve and progress. Our specialised tutors use multiple techniques to break down complex tasks, teach planning and organisation skills, and provide immediate, positive feedback. By implementing frequent, short breaks and utilising the student’s intrinsic intuition, we create a focused, engaging learning environment that supports consistent, rewarding academic progress.

High-functioning autism refers to autistic children with average or above-average intelligence and good verbal skills. But they lack skills such as social communication, sensory sensitivities, emotional regulation, or critical thinking. It isn’t an official medical label, but parents and teachers often use it to explain an autistic child requiring occasional support.
SEN tutoring helps children with high-functioning autism by offering personalised and structured lessons that match their distinct learning styles. SEN tutors also break tasks into small steps and build a child’s confidence through routine and clear guidance in a steady and comfortable environment.

HRB Education focuses mainly on academic SEN tutoring, but our sessions also include creative, hands-on, and multi-sensory activities that support therapeutic learning. We understand that traditional memorisation isn’t always effective, especially for children with diverse needs. Therefore, our SEN tutors use art, kinesthetic activities, and game-style activities to help children understand everything and make lessons more engaging and meaningful. This method works well for younger learners or students who benefit from a more interactive and enjoyable learning style.

Pathological Demand Avoidance (PDA) is a type of autism where children struggle with regular academic tasks because they feel anxious and need to feel in control. At school, this can make them avoid work or complete it unevenly, which affects their learning and progress. SEN tutoring creates a calm and flexible environment where children can make choices and work at their own pace. This reduces anxiety and supports steady, confident progress.

You can consider SEN tutoring if your child lacks foundational and organisation skills consistently or struggles with concentration and homework completion. Other key indicators include noticeable frustration, schoolwork anxiety, or social and emotional challenges that interfere with learning.
If you notice these changes, book an initial SEN assessment or consultation with HRB Education. We help parents determine whether support is needed and recommend an expert SEN tutor for personalised, effective learning management.
