We help you navigate the sometimes complex admission process, from choosing the best schools and universities to crafting standout applications.

We’ll help you choose the best schools for your child by considering their academic needs, social environment, and proximity to home. We’ll evaluate whether a day or boarding school fits best with their future goals.
We’ll then assess how close your child is to meeting the target school’s requirements and create a customised plan to address any gaps.
Support with university applications includes identifying your child’s preferred subjects, university choices, location, and campus style. We also discuss their expectations for university life.
Then we’ll review their target grades and explore additional tuition if needed. We’ll also help in organising open days to visit universities. We’ll guide you through the UCAS application process and assist with potential foundation course applications.

Together we’ll explore your child’s academic interests and university preferences, such as campus style and extracurriculars. We’ll focus on target grades and assess if extra tuition or SATs are needed. University visits or virtual tours will be arranged.
Finally, we’ll help narrow down the university list, prepare the Common App statement, and any supplemental essays, ensuring everything is ready before deadlines.

The private school and college admissions process starts 12–24 months before your child is due to join. It begins with researching schools and completing a registration form. Most students then sit entrance tests such as the ISEB Pre-Test or core subject exams, such as English and Maths and other aptitude tests. The final step is an interview and a review of your child’s current school reports before the school decides whether to make a conditional offer.

Selective admission is based on a student's academic merit and potential, as demonstrated through competitive entrance examinations, interviews, and aptitude in arts, music, or athletics. On the other hand, general admissions, or non-selective admissions, are based on a student’s abilities rather than on performance criteria. Selective institutions generally maintain a competitive academic environment, while general admission schools promote a more varied and inclusive learning curriculum.

General admission does not select students based on competitive academic performance or entrance exam scores. Instead, the application selection is based on age, space availability, and whether the child is a good fit for the school. Some schools may also prioritise siblings or earlier applicants. The non-selective/general admission model promotes a diverse and inclusive learning environment which offers equal educational opportunities for all students

You should start preparing for your child’s admission way earlier than the application date. Most families begin in Year 3 or 4 (ages 7–9), so their child has time to build strong basics for the 11+ or 13+ exams. Many schools also require you to register two or even three years in advance, usually by the autumn of year 5, for 11+ entry. Early planning benefits your child by giving them ample time for steady subject practice, practising exam techniques, and building an excellent extracurricular profile.
